Ticket Policies

Ticket Office Hours & Information

The Ticket Office is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with extended evening hours on Thursdays until 6 p.m.  The office is also open at least two hours prior to all performances and will remain open through the first intermission. When there is no intermission, the ticket office closes 30 minutes after performance start time. Ticket Office Phone number: 314-516-4949 or 866-516-4949.

Payment by Phone

All tickets purchased over the phone or online must be charged to MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover; tickets will not be held without payment. Tickets purchased by phone and online include a service fee. Avoid service fees by purchasing in person at the ticket window.

Personal Checks

Checks may be made payable to the University of Missouri St. Louis or UMSL. A driver’s license or state ID must be shown to pay by check.

Refund Policy

All Sales are final. No refunds. Patrons may exchange within the same show or run of shows. Each ticket exchanged will be subject to a $3 fee. Patrons are responsible for any difference between the time and zone pricing. However, there are no refunds for the price difference. Ticket exchanges may be made in person at the Ticket Office, by phone or by mail; in either case tickets previously purchased must be returned before new tickets will be released.

Tickets may be returned as a tax-deductible contribution to the Touhill. This must done by the show time printed on the tickets. A receipt for the donation will be issued.

Ticket Delivery

All tickets purchased via web, mail or phone will be mailed. Please allow 7-10 business days for delivery. All tickets purchased less than seven days prior to the performance will be held at will call. Patrons must present a photo ID when picking up tickets.

Young Child Policy

As a courtesy to audience members and performers, please use discretion regarding a young child’s ability to sit quietly and enjoy a performance. Children under 2 years of age do not need a ticket as long as they sit on an adults lap. Please visit the Ticket Office the day of the performance to obtain a door pass for admission. 

Current Address and Phone Number

A current address and phone number are required when purchasing a ticket. It is needed to verify payment. If this information is not provided at time of sale no reprints are allowed & you waive your right to be notified of performance changes.

Special Seating Requests

Advise ticket seller prior to purchasing tickets when special seating is required (wheelchair, no stairs, etc.).

Lost or Stolen Tickets

Lost or stolen tickets may be replaced by calling the Ticket Office. The reprinted tickets will override the original tickets; an I.D. will be required to pick up reprinted tickets. Reprinted tickets may be picked up the week of the performance. No reprints will be mailed.

Service Fees

A service fee is added to the price of each ticket for all phone, mail, fax and online purchases.  Avoid fees by making ticket purchases in person at the Touhill Ticket Office.  Fees are not printed on the ticket.

All service fees are non-refundable. In the case of a show cancellation only the face value of the ticket will be refunded.

Patrons wishing to be seated together must order at the same time.  Please see Group Tickets information for availability and discounts.
