J.D. will mark the end of his 50 years of concert performances by bringing his 10 piece band to the Touhill's Anheuser-Busch Performance Hall for his final concert appearance.

A live album and video will be recorded at this show and, just like he did in his “Live In St. Louis” album, recorded at the Kiel Opera House in 1982, the names of those audience members that register their names will have their names printed in the album liner notes to become a part of this musical moment in history.

J.D. hails from Columbus, Ohio, but in October, 2016 he was inducted into the “St. Louis Classic Rock Hall of Fame,” in the “Outside Influence” category.  The category recognizes those acts that, although not from St. Louis, have had a great influence on the St. Louis music market.

J.D. is working on turning his latest album, “The Legend of Texas Red” into a full length, feature film, and although his concert work will end with this show, he intends to continue writing and recording in the future.  The album recorded at this concert will be his 14th album, and another studio album is scheduled for late 2017.

In 1988 J.D. bought back the rights to all of his recordings, including the song copyrights, and now sells his Albums’/CD’s on his website at jdblackfoot.com, as well as on Amazon.com as sold by “Yonder Music Group”, which is a record label that J.D. owns and is the President/CEO.

Three members that were with J.D. at the “Live In St. Louis” concert in 1982 will be with him for this final show, George Mobley (lead guitar), Steve Ghiloni (drums), and Kay Harris (vocals).  Also returning for this show is Bass Guitarist John Durzo, who co-wrote a song with J.D. in 1971 that has now become an anthem for the “Friends of J.D. Blackfoot Music”, “Flushed You From The Toilets of My Heart”.  Also joining J.D. will be good friends Terry Efaw from “McGuffey Lane” (steel guitar), and “Pavlov’s Dog” guitarist Steve Scorfina.  Rounding out the group is Don Sievert (keyboards), and Erminie Cannon and Marlys Gypsy Brown (vocals).

This celebration of 50 years of concert performances coming to an end will be as emotional as uplifting, and be a magical moment in musical history for all in attendance to remember for the rest of time.

Your last opportunity to hear- - - - “Hello St. Louis, I’m J.D. Blackfoot”, just one more, final time.

This show is expected to sell very fast so don’t delay.
