Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday Observance

The UMSL 2020 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Observance will be held on Monday, January 20, 2020 at 10 a.m. in the Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center. 

The program will feature:

Dr. Marc Lamont Hill, host of HuffPost Live and BET News, VH1 and former political contributor for CNN

Jasmine Huda, evening anchor/reporter for Fox 2 News / KTVI-TV

Brian Owens, founder and executive director of L.I.F.E. Arts Inc.

 2020 MLK Scholarship Recipients

The UMSL College of Education faculty and students from Kappa Delta Pi Chapter will coordinate a concurrent program for children ages 5-11.  The chapter has coordinated this award winning MLK children’s program for the past nine years.  Registration for this program is available on a first come first serve basis.
