Basile: Greek Comedy

Emmy-nominated comedian Basile was raised in a Greek home but grew up in an American society. As he explains, that’s the perfect set-up for conflict – and comedy. And yes, he goes by the single name, Basile.

Basile is perhaps best known for his critically acclaimed comedy series Growing Up Greek in America. With more than 100 television appearances including HBO, Showtime, Comedy Central and NBC’s The Tonight Show with Jay Leno to his credit, Basile is also known for his voice work as Universal Studio’s Bullwinkle J. Moose, and he does several other voices for the Satellite Comedy Network and Cartoon Network.
