The Glenn Miller Orchestra
featuring dancers from St. Louis' own Casa Loma Ballroom
“In the mood” for some swing? Glenn Miller’s signature sound made the Glenn Miller Orchestra the most sought-after big band in the country. The world-famous namesake orchestra continues to play the dominant form of popular music in America in the ‘30s and ‘40s. For this spin at the Touhill, St. Louis’ own Casa Loma Ballroom dancers accompany the orchestra – in full regalia –to round out the big band extravaganza. The dancers personify Miller’s enduring popularity as they Waltz, Fox Trot and Swing with the band.
